I am no coffee connoisseur. I just know what I like and what I don't, and Ipsento has my lattes on lock. On a normal day, I just order a medium almond milk latte. But when I'm feeling wild or need a little something sweet, I will get the namesake Ipsento. Think of it as a regular latte with an extra flavor boost. Choose from dairy, almond or soy milk to make up the bulk of your beverage. It sounds pretty normal. But what starts as a regular latte doesn't end as one. They top it off with steamed coconut milk mixed with honey and cayenne pepper. The coconut milk and honey make it a rather sweet option, but if you opt for dairy milk for the rest of it, it balances out. The dash of cayenne pepper cuts right through that richness and makes your eyes widen. The Ipsento is about as sweet as I will go in the coffee department, and about once a month, this unique twist really hits the spot. I like it iced in the summer. Another famed option is their Nutella latte. I haven't had it, and honestly it sounds like my nightmare, but people on the inter-webs are going crazy for it. Unavoidably rich, this can be a dessert substitute after a heavy lunch to both awaken and satiate. Now these two drinks make this place sound like a Starbucks-wannabe, but it couldn't be further from the truth. They take their in-house roasting and concoctions very seriously and aren't serving up Frappuccino knock-offs.

Ipsento also has a small menu of sandwiches, snacks and pastries to choose from.  I have only had a couple of their sandwiches and they were pretty generic. I wouldn't rush there for lunch, but would definitely recommend plugging in your laptop and hunkering down with a nice hot bev.
